Contra Dance presented by Chattanooga Traditional Dance

Chattanooga Traditional Dance Society (CTDS) sponsors its 2nd Saturday Contra dance featuring caller Chrissy Davis-Camp with music by The Mountain Creek Boys. Everyone -- beginner to experienced -- is invited to join our welcoming and family-friendly community and enjoy this lively, traditional social dance. No partners are necessary. All dances are taught in walk-throughs. Toe-tapping music makes even sitting out enjoyable. Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes and bring an extra pair of clean, soft-soled shoes for dancing. There will be a contra basics workshop for beginners at the start of the evening -- so plan to arrive early!
