Create a Live Holiday Wreath
to
UT Extension Office 6183 Adamson Cir., City of Chattanooga, Tennessee
Create your own live holiday wreath using fresh greenery and other decorations from the garden with the Master Gardeners of Hamilton County (MGHC) at their popular annual free class on Saturday, November 18 from 10:00 am to 12 noon.
Participants should bring their own wreath base (12-16 inches in diameter) made of grapevine, wire or other material, as well as any other special decorations. Master Gardeners provide greenery and other natural elements from their own gardens and assist with instructions and ideas to create a beautiful, original result. The class is limited to 30 participants so that everyone can work comfortably on their projects.
Carol Mathews, chair of the MGHC Education committee, comments, “So many different plants and natural decorations can be used to make live wreaths. Their fresh feel and fragrance will add a special touch to your holiday decorating!”
