The Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation, founding sponsor of the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, is proud to present the 5th Annual Odyssey Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Our event theme this year—Full STEAM Ahead—recognizes and celebrates the innovative educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math that CGLA provides under-served girls in our community.

Our keynote speaker is Ian Symmonds, President and Founder of Ian Symmonds & Associates, an education thought-leader, strategist and author whose Just Cause initiative seeks to increase access to quality education for underserved children. The event will also recognize exemplary CGLA students and celebrate CGLA’s distinctive accomplishments. Now in its fifth year, CGLA has made tremendous progress and was honored in August 2013 for being in the top 5 percent of schools in the state for academic growth.
