The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga is proud to announce its School of Nursing has just launched its newest initiative, The LEAP. The Leap’s goal is to give current nursing to students’ opportunities to experience and implement healthcare abroad. This May 12 students and 5 faculty members will be providing medical care in Guatemala City, Guatemala.  They will gain invaluable experiences serving the residents Guatemala’s most desperate areas. Students will be traveling to a women’s prison, an HIV orphanage, the city dump and local ghettos. So please consider supporting The Leap this month in their effort to raise $35,000.
