The Chattanooga Music Club will present its annual recital featuring CMC Scholarship winners at 2:30 p.m. on April the 27th at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Scholarship recipients for 2014 are Justin Smith, oboe, $3,000 Chattanooga Music Club Scholarship; Janelle Wigal, French horn, $2,500 Drs. Hilda & Andres Alisago Scholarship; Drew Craig, Tenor, $2,000 Opal Rhea Swaity Scholarship; Joey Shultz, piano, $1,500 Dorothy Cobb Martin Scholarship; Christine Lau, violin, $1,000 Fletcher Bright Strings Scholarship; Austin Ngo, piano, $1,000 Fry Merit Scholarship.
The recital will be followed by the installation of officers and a tea. State Representative Richard Floyd will install 2014-2015 officers Linda Thompson, President; Margaret Ann Randolph, 1st Vice President; Buddy Shirk, 2nd Vice President; Pam & Gary Helton, 3rd Co-Vice Presidents; Jane Southerland, 4th Vice President; Molly Kennedy, Recording Secretary; Lounelle Draper, Corresponding Secretary; Gerald Payne, Treasurer.
