QuiltWeek sews up Chattanooga Convention Center
The American Quilter’s Society is bringing a patchwork of vendors and special exhibits to the Convention Center today for QuiltWeek’s annual stop in Chattanooga.
The American Quilter’s Society is a nationwide association of quilters and vendors that come together to celebrate the creativity and community of quilting.
Front and center at QuiltWeek are the special exhibits, which range from author showcases to contest entries for prompts such as “Wicked” and “Stitch Like an Egyptian.”
Other exhibits will show off quilt artists from Europe and the Middle East, available to be seen in the U.S. only at QuiltWeek. In addition, the event will feature a Merchant Mall, where both quilting supplies and the finished products will be available for purchase from small-to-large vendors as well.
QuiltWeek will be at the Convention Center, 1 Carter Plaza, 9 a.m.—6 p.m. Sept. 16-18, and 9 a.m.—5 p.m. Sept. 19. Get more info online at quiltweek.com
