Christopher Paul Stelling and his guitar grace Granfalloon
Florida native Christopher Paul Stelling has made his way down from locales like Boston, Seattle, and New York to bring his folky picking style to Chattanooga’s Granfalloon.
Stelling has performed songs from his most recent album Labor Against Waste on “CBS Saturday Morning” as well as NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series that sing the lessons learned on his travels through the country doing musical shows with only his guitar, Brownie, by his side.
His stories are both deeply personal and universal, and his intricate style moves easily through different genres, lending itself easily to tapping your feet along with the soulful lyrics. Stelling’s self-taught expertise is a testament to both his originality and his inspirations, shaped uniquely by his idols and his experiences.
The evening, presented by Flashlight Shows, is set for Thursday, Aug, 27 and will benefit the Humane Educational Society. Doors open at 7 p.m.
