Juneteenth is the opportunity to give thanks for our freedom and family. The celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. at Eastdale Village Community 1403 Tunnel Blvd. All are invited to play old school games, entertainment, and the re-showing of the documentary “Bastards of the Party.”
There will be food, poetry, G –rated rap contest, double-dutch contest, Tug of War, Hoola Hooping, face painting, dance, fun, and edutainment. For more information please contact Ms. Charlotte S.
