This one-man play by Jim Pfitzer is set on one evening in and around the famous Wisconsin Shack that informed much of Leopold’s writing. The play explores the influences and challenges that led the great conservationist to penning his beloved book A Sand County Almanac.
In honor of what would have been Leopold’s 126th birthday, there will be live music from the Rising Fawn Social Club, birthday cake, drawings for Leopold mugs, books, and other surprises, and a raffle to win a Leopold Bench with proceeds benefitting the Aldo Leopold Foundation!
Buddy Huffaker of the Aldo Leopold Foundation says "Jim truly captures the essence of Leopold" and David Cook of the Chattanooga Times Free Press calls the play "Magnificent!"
