The Arts & Education Council (AEC) is bringing Jon Meacham to Chattanooga on Tuesday evening, November 20, 2012. The Pulitzer Prize winning writer will read from his newly published book, Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power and will sign books following the reading. Every ticket holder will receive a copy of the book.
“We are honored to present this special event with Chattanooga’s own, Jon Meacham in the intimate setting at Lindsay Street Hall. This is a great kick-off to the Celebration of Southern Writers, scheduled for April 18-20, 2013”, says Susan Robinson, Executive Director of the AEC.
Proceeds of this event help fund the AEC’s literary programs which include the Celebration of Southern Literature and the Young Southern Student Writers Awards. Tickets are available through AEC by calling (423) 267-2128 or emailing info@ArtsEdCouncil.org.
