Dr. B & the Ease is one of Chattanooga’s hottest new bands and you’ll kick yourself for not having heard them before. But don’t be too hard on yourself, nobody’s really heard them yet… unless you’ve been to TerraMae on a recent Tuesday where Dr. B & the Ease thrill the guests with their head-bobbing grooves. They are, at their core, a blues/rock band, brimming with soul and some very intelligent Funk and Jazz melodies. Each of the four members has mastered his instrument and his voice, and they often switch roles to get the most out of each song. It’s free to see them play, and you’ll wonder why they aren’t playing bigger shows. But that’s how it works with new bands… you have to get out and play the intimate venues and let people hear you. So, this is your chance to see Dr. B & the Ease while they’re still an “unknown”. And when they make it big, you can brag to your friends about how you knew them “way back when”.
