If you're interested in learning about environmental issues, you're invited to an Environmental Film Festival on Sunday, June 1, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Chattanooga.
Those attending can view a variety of presentations on such environmental issues as mountain top removal, water quantity and quality, fracking, nuclear energy, solar energy, population growth, food production, civil disobedience, global warming, and bee colony collapse. Age-suitable environmental movies and nature-related activities will be offered for youth.
The festival is part of a day celebrating the installation of solar panels on the church roof. Film showing will run from 1:15-5 p.m. after a potluck picnic, a youth disco Sun Party, and a solar panel dedication ceremony.
The event is free and all are welcome. The church is located at 3224 Navajo Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37411.
