FIRST FRIDAY CHATTANOOGA – The Arts – kicks off for 2016 Friday February 5th.
For those of you new to "First Friday", the goal is to promote and support local artists and musicians by providing them with a consistent outlet to showcase their work. Every First Friday night of the month, participating Chattanooga galleries, artist studios and arts focused businesses extend their operating hours, host opening receptions and open studios providing opportunities for our residents and guests to meet the artists or enjoy feature artist exhibits.
We hope to connect our artists, galleries and the community through this monthly event; and encourage our city's natives, transplants and touring guests to explore, discover, experience (and shop) the many galleries and venues in our arts-friendly city.
Come out and support LOCAL – Local Artists, Local Galleries and our Local Economy. You can ensure our arts community thrives and survives.
