Hickory Valley Garden Club and Heritage House Arts and Civic Center invites you to a FREE symposium titled, “Sustainability in Chattanooga: Improving our environment and our collective quality of life in the Chattanooga Area” with speaker Chris LeCroy of GreenSpaces.

Since 2008 GreenSpaces, a local 501(c)(3) organization, has promoted advocacy, awareness, education, and training in the area of sustainable living in the home, at the workplace, and in general landscape development in Chattanooga through design competitions and incentive campaigns. They continue to develop new programs that advance the shared mission of being responsible stewards of the environment in order to raise the quality of life for our city’s residents. Chris LeCroy, program director at Green Spaces, has 10 yrs experience in various sectors of construction, has a MS in sustainability construction management from Colorado State University and has had key roles in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design Certification) building projects. He is an outdoor enthusiast and a singer-songwriter.
