Mainx24 is organized completely by residents, merchants, and friends of the Southside community. Will be held December 3rd through December 4th. Located every inch of Main St & the Southside Neighborhood.
The annual event features 24-hr. programming and includes everything from parades to music & poetry readings to chilli cook-offs to residential and business Holiday Open Houses. In the past, there have been busking competitions, photo contests, and a sculpture burn. Local schools participate in planning and implementation – and the Kick-off event, the “Pancake Breakfast” at the firehall, is $5 per person with all proceeds benefitting Battle Academy.
