Velo Coffee Roasters is thrilled to present Malcolm Holcombe live in concert from their roastery and coffee bar in southside Chattanooga. One year ago, Velo asked for help from the community that had so faithfully and enthusiastically supported them over the previous four years. Business had grown such that Velo’s 5kg roaster was running ten hours a day, six days a week. They needed a new machine and Chattanooga came through. To celebrate and thank everyone who has ever bought an espresso, bag of coffee, or bottle of cold brew — or just come by with a smile — Velo is throwing down. There’ll be soulful music, chili dogs, sleight-of-hand, and some merchandise, including a limited-edition Velo koozie. The party starts at 6p and unsung legend of folk Malcolm Holcombe plays at 8:30p. $10 includes music, chili dogs, and refreshments. Free for Kickstarter supporters. Stay gold, y'all.
