After traveling with various gospel groups in NW Georgia, God began leading Suzie Smith and Tim McAllister in another direction. In the summer of 2002, God placed a deep desire in their hearts to begin Mercy Call Ministries. This group has had the privilege of lifting up the King of Kings and telling of his love and salvation in countless venues. Mercy Call has been witness to many souls saved as well as many lives changed through their ministry. This is why it is so important that each member of the band have a deep and intimate relationship with God. They consider it an honor to be called by the one and only Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mercy Call’s style could be described as a mixture of praise and worship, light contemporary, and gospel; but they call it pleasing to God. They believe that a ministry of music should be anointed and heartfelt.
