The Kewl Race
It's year number two for a Kewl Race in Chattanooga!! L2 Boards is testing your skills and teamwork with the one & only Kewl Race. Come Climb, SUP, and Trail Run a deserted island right in the heart of downtown -- and the best part is, it's all for a good cause. A portion of our proceeds will go to support the work of the Audobon Society and help keep Maclellan Island clean & safe for the city's growing number of adventure seekers.
Teams or individual participants will start with a supported climb up the Walnut Street Bridge climbing wall. Together, they must run to the paddle launch where they will race to Maclelland Island by standup paddleboard (SUP). After a quick trail loop around the island, they'll return to their boards for a downriver paddle to the finish. We've made it easy for all ability levels to give the Kewl Race their personal best. You won't even need your own board to race! If you're part of a team, we will provide the boards for your use during the race.
As the area's first and only SUP Adventure Race, our first year was a tremendous success. This year, L2 Boards would love to see even greater participation and support for the Audobon Society.
